Preparing your body for the NBA Draft with Tres Tinkle

In episode 6, The Pivot changes things up and speaks with Tres Tinkle (Oregon State Men’s Basketball) as he prepares for the 2020 NBA Draft. Tres also talks about what it is like to grow up in a basketball family (Mom, Dad, and sisters Joslyn and Elle all played at the highest level), the challenges and rewards of playing for his dad in college, and the creative ways you can work out just by shopping at TruVallue.

Tres grew up in Missoula, Montana and was a standout player at Hellgate High School. He played for Select during the spring and summer before his senior year. From there he went on to play at Oregon State, where he was a three-time First Team All Pac-12 selection, is the all-time leading scorer in Oregon State history (passing Gary Payton), and holds the Oregon State record for most consecutive games scoring in double figures (90+).

Getting to this point wasn’t easy. Along the way, Tres faced his share of struggles, including two injuries that sidelined him for the season his freshman and sophomore years. But his patience paid off and has prepared him for success.
